Leo HR now available in the ChatGPT Plugins Directory

A new way for employers to work with Leo HR - directly from ChatGPT.

We’re pleased to announce that Leo HR v1.0.0 has been approved and published in the ChatGPT Plugins Directory.

This means Leo HR customers can connect their Leo account to ChatGPT and securely work with approved company information and Leo tools while using ChatGPT.

But there is an important distinction.

ChatGPT isn’t replacing Leo HR - and it isn’t providing Leo’s HR guidance.

Leo HR remains the AI-powered HR platform built specifically for employers, bringing together employee information, HR administration, compliance, workplace matters, documents, workflows and AI-powered HR support.

The ChatGPT integration simply provides another convenient way to interact with permitted parts of your Leo HR account.

What can the ChatGPT integration do?

Once connected, an authorised Leo HR user can use ChatGPT to interact with approved information and tools from their Leo account.

For example, rather than moving between systems to check something in Leo, an employer may be able to ask ChatGPT to retrieve permitted information or identify items in Leo that need their attention.

Access remains subject to Leo HR’s permissions and security controls.

The integration has deliberately been designed so that ChatGPT does not receive unrestricted access to an organisation’s HR information. Only information and tools made available through the Leo HR connection can be accessed, and significant or sensitive actions remain under the employer’s control.

What about Ask Leo?

Ask Leo remains Leo HR’s dedicated AI-powered HR guidance capability.

When an employer is dealing with a workplace matter and needs HR guidance, professional reasoning or support with the next appropriate step, that is the role of Ask Leo within the Leo HR platform.

The ChatGPT integration serves a different purpose: making it easier for authorised users to work with approved Leo HR information and tools from an environment they may already use every day.

Put simply:

Ask Leo provides HR guidance and support within Leo HR.
ChatGPT provides another way to securely interact with approved Leo HR information and tools.
